Shortly after 2 am yesterday morning, Upper Merion Township Fire and EMS was dispatched to a vehicle rescue on the 200 Blk. of Jasper Rd in the Sweetbriar Section of the Township. Deputy 56-3 (J. Recupido) arrived to one vehicle on its side with a subject still inside and established command. Engine 56-4 (King Of Prussia) arrived shortly after and stabilized the vehicle to remove the windshield and extricate the patient from inside. Engine 56-1 (King Of Prussia) was assigned fire suppression while Rescue 56-3 (Swedesburg) provided additional manpower. Engine 56-2 (Swedeland) also responded, but was returned upon completion of the rescue. Rescue was marked complete within 10 minutes and all units were clear by 2:40. Job well done by all!
