Squad 56 is stationed at Station 56 located on Guthrie Road. Squad 56 is equipped with vehicle rescue and technical rescue equipment. The engine is a a PA Dept of Health certified Quick Response Service (QRS) unit licensed to the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.

Engine 56-6 is stationed at Station 56-B located on A Street. Engine 56-6 serves a township reserve engine and may be in service at any of the stations when other engines are out of service. The engine is a a PA Dept of Health certified Quick Response Service (QRS) unit licensed to the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.

Ladder 56 is stationed at Station 56-B located on A Street. Ladder 56 is one of two ladder trucks in the township. The ladder is equipped for rope rescue, search & rescue, and carries various sized ground ladders. The ladder is a a PA Dept of Health certified Quick Response Service (QRS) unit licensed to the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.

Engine 56-3 is stationed at Station 56-C located on Jefferson Street in the Village of Swedesburg. Engine 56-3 is equipped with vehicel rescue and fire attack equipment. The engine is a a PA Dept of Health certified Quick Response Service (QRS) unit licensed to the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.

Rescue 56-3 is stationed at Station 56-C located on Jefferson Street in the Village of Swedesburg. Rescue 56-3 is equipped with vehicel rescue, technical rescue equipment, a Scott revlove air bottle filling station, and compressor. The rescue is a a PA Dept of Health certified Quick Response Service (QRS) unit licensed to the Basic Life Support (BLS) level. 

Marine 56

Marine 56 is stationed at Station 56-C located on Jefferson Street in the Village of Swedesburg. Marine 56 is equipped with a full complement of equipment for technical water rescues. Marine 56 pulls in tow Boats 56-1 and 2 and carries a NRS Water Rescue Raft.

Boat 56-1 & 56-2 is stationed at Station 56-C located on Jefferson Street in the Village of Swedesburg. The boats are equipped with depth poles, throw bags, a ring buoy, hand lights, and misc. hand tools. 

Traffic 56

2008 Freightliner

Traffic 56 is stationed at Station 56-C located on Jefferson Street in the Village of Swedesburg. Traffic 56 has a climate controlled cab and is equipped with a full complement of traffic cones, barricades, and detour signs.

Car 56-3

2015 Ford Expedition 

Car 56-3 is operated by Deputy Chief 56-3 (Chief of Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company) and has a built-in command center with a full complement of mobile radios, structural and water rescue gear, along with hand tools, and a command/accountability dry erase board. In addition Car 56-3 also carries a gas meter and Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC).
