January 19, 2022

Around lunch time today, Firefighters were alerted to an overturned truck with the driver still in the vehicle. Medic 356 arrived on scene and began evaluating the trapped driver from outside the vehicle. Rescue 56-3 arrived and stabilized the vehicle to prepare for extrication. Upon arrival of Engine 56 the crew provided a safety hose line and assisted the crew from Rescue 56-3 with extricating the patient.

Once extricated, EMS transported the patient to a local hospital.

Rescue 56-1 also made the response but was recalled after the extrication was completed.

Units: Rescue 56-3, Engine 56, Medic 356-4 and Rescue 56-1
