A Tradition of Care, Built for the Future
Upper Merion’s municipal EMS service builds on decades of local dedication.
In May 2019, the township assumed responsibility for EMS following Lafayette Ambulance’s 57 years of service to the community. The township immediately added a second Advanced Life Support ambulance to provide around-the-clock coverage. Today, Upper Merion EMS continues that tradition through municipal emergency medical services and specialized programs such as the Mobile Stroke Unit.
Joining our department means becoming part of that continuing commitment: showing up prepared, caring for patients with dignity, and helping the service improve for the people who depend on it.
