Tuesday evening shortly before 7:00 PM, crews from Upper Merion Twp. Fire and EMS were alerted to a vehicle fire on the westbound lanes of the Schuylkill Expressway in the Gulph Mills section of the Township. Deputy 56-2 (Orangers) arrived to find a sedan well off just before the 329 exit. Engine 56-2 (Swedeland) arrived and stretched an attack line to extinguish the fire. Engine 56-1 (King of Prussia) assisted with overhaul and supplied additional water to fully extinguish the fire. Job well done by all!
