Yesterday for weekly drill members from all three companies met at Swedesburg Vol. Fire Co. (Station 56C) for a Sprinkler Class hosted by New Jersey National Fire Sprinkler Association. The class reviewed the basics of the four main types of sprinkler systems encountered, a live sprinkler demonstration, a review of NFPA 13E for Fire Service Operations with a Sprinkler System, and finished with a case review of the One Meridian Fire in Philadelphia back in 1991 that killed three firefighters. Everyone left the class learning something new! Thanks for coming out New Jersey NFSA!
