Around 7:00 pm on Tuesday May 24th, the department was dispatched to the Schuylkill Expressway for the report of vehicle rescue. Chief 56 arrived and confirmed one occupant of the vehicle was trapped. Crews quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle followed by using hydraulic rescue tools to cut the car.

Working with EMS, the occupant was safely removed from the vehicle. Medic unit 356-15 transported the patient to the hospital.
